I've read all the seven books atleast 5 times, and seen every movie atleast 3 times.

I'm hanging for the 7th film. How dare they split it in two!

Don't you dare steal my cookies.

I was a bookseller when the books were big (I'd signed on between when books 2 and 3 were big,) but “Young Adult Aiction” wasn't my section (although, if I had it to do over again, it'd be my speciality.)  I hadn't read them even when the first movie premiered, but that was my hook.  They set up this movie loop across from the info desk and I kept seeing this amazing woman change into a cat and back and I'd ask, “Who's that?  Is she good or bad?  Either way, I like that one…” and I'd hear, “Read the books!” : )  Which I devoured whole and became the co-presenter of a Harry Potter night there at the store.  Some of the best written books, some of the tightest, cleanest, most editorial writing I've ever read! : )  I've never read a book since that draws a person in inexplicably for 4-6 hours, and you really hardly notice the time.

I do hope they keep up the momentum between the two halves of the last movie (it's premier date is already circled on the calendar, lol.)

I have read books that have sucked me in, I've never panic-read like I have with HP.

Thanks, mith – I always enjoy a little george-martin, as well as some neil-aspinall. But the mal-evans is the best of the best! I had been clamoring for a Mal smiley for a long time. I was happy to see Joe added him.

I love Harry Potter! I've read the series twice now, and can't wait for the movie to come out (3 more days)!

I remember there being a line from the 5th book something like this: “The car beetled its way down The Long And Winding Road .” Maybe Rowling was a fan?

Because the wind is high, it blows my mind.

I remember her in a documentary about The Beatles and how she listened to them. I can't recall much except it was in connection with driving around in her Ford Anglia.

I read the first three books.  I stopped when the books started getting long.  I've seen all of the films.

I'm Necko.  I'm like Ringo except I wear necklaces.

I'm also ewe2 on weekends.

Most likely to post things that make you go hmm... 2015, 2016, 2017.

Did she actually write that? I wonder what she'll write next, it would be a shame if she didn't try something because she definitely evolved into a pretty terrific writer by the end of it.

I'd like to read more about the Marauders, especially to clear up the whole Snape v. James issue.

Yes, definitely more on Snape. I would like a book or maybe even series just on his perspective of things because he turned into the real hero at the end. She could also write an entire series on Voldemort, just his evolution, or even Dumbledore for that matter with all of the stuff brought into the 6th and 7th books. I honestly think she'll write a new series based on Teddy Lupin, like he goes into Slytherin instead of Gryffindor and turns all evil.

But wasn't Teddy snogging Fleur and Bill's daughter (Victoire or something) at the end of the seventh one? It was nineteen years later, and he would have been about 19…so how could he be in Slytherin and all evil?

I'd like to be, under the sea, in an octopus's garden, with you.
