What are some funny things that have happened to you? It could be anything from a funny AutoCorrect change to an embarrasing moment that seems funny in retrospect. Anything goes, as long as it’s funny!

:D

I saw this on a T-shirt:

Let’s eat Grandma.

Let’s eat, Grandma.

Commas save lives

I lol’d so hard.

Not sure I entirely agree with this.

Referring back to the original post, reminded me of a t-shirt I saw in a shop on holiday in Crete, which said:

“To do is to be” – Plato

“To be is to do” – Aristotle

“Do be do be do” – Sinatra

There are two levels to take the cartoon I posted: straight, or as satire.  I certainly don’t advocate demonizing critics of the Koran as “haters” while simultaneously lauding critics of the Bible as “artists” (e.g., the Piss Christ exhibit is “trendy” and nobody riots and kills people, but a Piss Mohammed exhibit would surely generate global manifestations of unhinged seething hatred from innumerable Muslims, and of course would never even get Off The Ground with funding and support from our institutions; meanwhile our literati and intelligentsia would turn a blind eye and would continue its obsession with how bad Christians are).

So I see the cartoon as a satirical jab at our insanely irrational Western politically correct double standard in this regard.

^^ Reminds me of an English teacher telling our class that “It’s me” is incorrect, but we don’t normally go around announcing, “It is I!”

For some reason some pics doesnt show up in Internet Explorer but do in Firefox and other browsers. IE has a few disagreements with this site that no other browser does.

Actually “It is I” is the proper way of saying it but “It is me” is more colloquial.

That’s odd… I was able to see the picture on the day I posted it, but now I cannot. It’s a picture of a man asking a woman if she’s the new English teacher. She says that she is using incorrect grammar. If you look up Edgar-Argo new English teacher cartoon on google, you should be able to find it and some other funny ones.

Has anyone here (aiming this question at the younger people here mainly) watched any charlieissocoolike videos? I used to watch them a lot (I was subscribed to him on youtube) when I was younger, and I was reminded of him the other day.

http://www.youtube.com/user/ch…..socoollike

Here’s a couple of his videos:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…..nhzA9GrF1o

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…..kMWAwCJS_s

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…..AkEjhufIkY

By the way, his favourite band is The Beatles, so there’s already one reason to like him. He is a bit strange, and very funny. Is known to do anything (or almost anything) his fans ask him to, which is why some of his videos are ”unique”.

Moving along in our God given ways, safety is sat by the fire/Sanctuary from these feverish smiles, left with a mark on the door.
