Precisely: a large and strong man. Paul isn’t a muscular man; he’s kind of short as well, or average if you want. “Large and strong”; Paul isn’t like that at all. None of the Beatles were. “Hunk”? Hardly. Sexy maybe, OK, but “hunk”…?
