There are some great voices listed above.

I'll add Pat Benatar, Neil Diamond, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Josh Grobin and just about anyone with the last name Staples.

GniknuS – I like your inclusion of Malcom Rebennack, Jr. – “such a night…”

I had to google that, I thought it just said Doctor John on his birth certificate and maybe his middle name was boogie woogie or something like that. brian-epstein

I love Dylan’s voice too, maybe not how he sounds these days, but check out his voice in Girl From the North Country and Don’t Think Twice, It’s Alright. He has a very nice sentimental voice.

His voice is probably the farthest thing from the normal pop voice. Doesn’t mean it’s bad, hut don’t make me listen to anything he’s done recently.

Well, here's my list in no order:

Scott Stapp (I'm a HUGE Creed fan so obviously, he had to go on my list)

David Grohl (HUGE Foo Fighters fan, can't wait to see them live)

Brandon Boyd from Incubus

Kurt Cobain

Bono, of course

There's tons more, but I can't think of them at this moment…

And who could forget John, Paul, George, and Ringo?

I like female voices a lot, Phoebe Snow had one massive hit called Poetry Man and her voice is just fantastic.

I think Burton Cummings from the Guess Who has to be one of the most underrated singers ever. Check out Sour Suite.

Yep both from Freewheelin’ (which btw is an absolutely fantastic album that I would recommend to anyone, especially for those two songs a-hard-days-night-george-10 ).

There’s a version of Girl From The North Country on Nashville Skyline (possibly my favourite Dylan album). It’s a duet with Johnny Cash. Look out for it.

After I took it, it opened my eyes. We only use one-tenth of our brain. Just think what we could all accomplish if we could only tap that hidden part. It would mean a whole new world. If the politicians would take LSD, there wouldn't be any more War or poverty or famine.

John and Paul obviously (I go through phases of whose I prefer, it's currently Macca), Bob Dylan, Julian Casablancas, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Jeff Buckley, Zooey Deschanel, Marvin Gaye, Bill Withers, Al Green, etc etc.

That's all I can think of at the moment. a-hard-days-night-paul-7

I think it's great you're going through a phase,

and I'm awfully glad it'll all be over in a couple

of days
