I could be mistaken, but didn't StarWisher say they were absolutely fantastic when she saw them?
I think she did. It's gonna be so gooooood!
I think I prefer The Suburbs, but I have a feeling that Funeral will grow on me and become my favourite. They're both amazing albums, though.
Where's Neon Bible in that? I haven't heard it yet, but I'm playing it now.Funeral is a grower, most certainly. When I first played it, my first thought was they got better with age. Now it's "impossible to beat that".
Neon Bible has some fantastic songs on it (I'm not sure if there's a thudding heartbeat sound effect at the end of (Antichrist Television Blues) or not), but it isn't nearly as strong as Funeral. Funeral is the only album I've heard which I've really liked every song on, but Neon Bible has some relatively weak songs (the middle), and is too bombastic at times. There isn't enough of Regine.

OfflineHmmm, let's see…
1.- The Beach Boys. I often hear The SMiLE album of Purple Chick, probably their best album, albeit unreleased, and they got very close of beating The Beatles with this one.
2.- Queen. I have heard the last album with Freddie in Earth (Innuendo) and among other songs. They were really a powerful band, but slightly far from The Beatles.
3.- ABBA. Almost all their singles. They were an amazing band, their songs were great (at least the singles).
There might be more bands, but those are the top three.

OfflineFoster the People. I've been listening to Pumped up Kicks all night, just because it's that crazy good. Hoping to get my hands on the album Torches soon.
Edit: Also forgot about Mumford and Sons. Love Awake My Soul the most.

OfflineOnce again, another of my my brother's tastes rolling into my taste. Pumped Up Kicks is so bloody good. Oh, and kinda off-topic; Anybody who actually knows, is the fact that The Strokes are putting a song in the FIFA 2012 game embarrassing of smart?

Smart. FIFA games always have amazing soundtracks.

I've been getting into the Arctic Monkeys. This band kicks ass I swear.
They're amazing. Try and get your hands on Favourite Worst Nightmares, it's their best album IMO.

OfflineI always wonder. Sometimes (over here that is) it's viewed as cheap and useless, or viewed as smart promotion. Thanks.
Oh, and MND, I'll echo Mumford. The last 3 songs are equal to the best ending trio ever, anybody. Even Pepper.

I love the song Pumped Up Kicks. Their other song Helena Beat is really good too. I should listen to their whole album.

Oh yes they do. Love them. Check out this song, by the Arctic Monkeys' lead singer Alex Turner and Miles Kane. wicked. plus they kinda look like Beatles here.
Foster The People is good too.

OfflineWell, if he is saying Abbey Road has a better final 3 tracks, the final 3 of AR is Carry That Weight (Meh), The End (Love it) and Her Majesty (again, meh). So I still believe Sigh No More has a better final 3.
