If there’s a “Thread of the year” award, I’d like to ask that “The Beatles arrive in New York City TODAY!!” be submitted for consideration. That one really took off! (Especially after Ahhh Girl took it to a whole new level)

That’s probably my favorite topic ever, but I don’t think it fits any categories for voting. There aren’t many topics that threads can win.

Apropos of nothing, you might remember this kitten from last year, who was going to get a spritz for every member who didn’t vote in the awards.(It didn’t happen. No puppies or kittens were harmed in the tallying of votes.)
That adorable kitten is now this lazy, full-grown cat. I should put her to work counting votes.
