All you folks who have written about being in plays and musicals must have sunk into my subconscious.

I dreamed that I was in a play. I was playing the part of a woman who had made a bad choice in life and was getting her just punishment. But, while on stage during the performance, I forgot ALL my lines. I started re-creating the character and making her take hold of her situation and make the best out of it. I was making commentaries on how society should give people a hand up instead of treading all over them. Somehow, the other actors caught on to what I was doing and played along. We made the story up as we went along. ‘Twas really grand.

Interesting. I had a dream where I was in a play once. Eh, I might as well share it with you folks while we’re on the subject.

It was a regular kind of day in the dream. I was in The Back Seat Of My Car being driven to some sort of event. We arrived, and the said event turned out to be a play starring Robert Plant. I was only supposed to be in the audience, but I asked a staff member person if I could be an extra, to which she said yes. So, there I was standing around in a pink nurse outfit playing my part. I also seem to recall that the Led Zeppelin song For Your Life was part of the soundtrack.

The play was put on in 3 parts; each on a different night, so I relived the driving-to-the-event part a few times.

T’was very “interesting” to experience, for a lack of a better word. The play itself featured heavy drug use; and what I called Robert when conversing with him might just be better off either in the Fifty Shades thread or not said in the first place… ahdn_paul_01

I dreamt that I was in a train which had this open platform with a railing sort of a thing, nothing else..it was an extension to the train, and this train was supposed to cross a river..and the whole thing was magical; the river was magical. There were horses running across, and the atmosphere was colourful. And there were mountains & trees all around. Sort of like this, but wider:

image-4.jpegImage Enlarger

The train was supposed to cross the river, and the track was constructed on the river, no bridge. So it even had a dangerous element.

It was such a beautiful dream. Magically mysterious in every way x)

I had a dream last night where me and some of my friends were in a world where you could catch Pokémon. Although, instead of using Pokéballs (they didn’t even seem to exist in the world, so your Pokémon just followed you around), you sent your Pokémon to try to catch the Pokémon manually and with their moves; almost like a normal battle.

So, I went around with my Greninja (the only Pokémon I had at the time) to see if there were any Pokémon worth catching. Suddenly we came across a shiny Liepard! But, instead of the dark reddish coat colour the shiny form of Liepard actually has, this one had an electric blue* coat. I sent out my Greninja and it pinned the Liepard the ground almost immediately. I had caught it!

As I was figuring out how to name it, one of my friends came by and named it, despite the fact that I was supposed to!!!!! I was pretty mad at her, but she named the Liepard Biz, which kind of suited it. Annnnnnd that was the end.

*Darnit! Now Sound And Vision is stuck in my head! a-hard-days-night-paul-3(A great tune, but it’ll be there awhile for sure!)

No, actually. I was thinking about getting one of the games, but in the end I opted out.

I think the only Pokémon games that I would get at this point would be the download of one of Red/Blue/Yellow and either Sun or Moon once they come out (I’ll decide on which of the two I’m getting once more info on them is released).

Sorry in advance for the double post, but just last night I had an interesting dream….

Well, it was more of a nightmare, but anyways it all began when I was in my kitchen late at night doing kitcheny things. Suddenly, I heard a song on the radio that for some reason was in the living room by the window (it’s usually in the dining room). I walked over and crouched down to listen to it, and it was apparently a Pink Floyd song (and also apparently from The Wall) that sounded similarly to both Us and Them and Brain Damage.

I started listening to the lyrics, and the song turned out to be about a serial killer. Just then, I noticed a man outside holding a large knife. I was terrified, so I ran to my family and told them about the man. I then walked upstairs to hide, and as I did this I said to my mum something along the lines of “Pink Floyd is not very good to listen to when you’re scared.” And I could’ve sworn that as I said that I caught a glimpse of the man behind her…. a-hard-days-night-paul-10

After the nightmare ended I woke up at 3 in the morning trying to calm myself down by thinking of different happy/catchy/upbeat songs that I liked (Nobody’s Fault But Mine by Led Zep came to mind and worked for a little bit, but not really). Let me tell you, Maxwell’s Silver Hammer may seem like a happier tune but after you’ve almost got slice sliced by a silver steak knife it’s not so enjoyable. paul-mccartney

And of course (and as always), the only redeeming part of the ordeal was having a great tune already written out for you with lyrics and everything and I forgot how it went when I woke up. a-hard-days-night-paul-3

Anyways, @Beatlebug and/or any of the other FloydFanatics hanging ’round the forum, do you know of any PF song similar in theme/etc to the one from my Floyd-mare? a-hard-days-night-paul-10 Much thanks for any help. a-hard-days-night-george-9

Hmmm… none come to mind off the top of my head. I did think ‘Careful With That Axe, Eugene‘ (a friend of Maxwell’s?) but the storyline of that particular tune is extremely vague, seeing as the entire lyrical content consists of Roger Waters whispering the title once– the rest is left entirely to the imagination (aided by Roger Waters screaming like a strangled puma).ahdn_paul_01

I had a dream last night where all the active users were posting in a neverending story where each user would contribute but it was in the All Together Now section. It was some weird superhero story that was based on Heroes. Eventually I made a bad post in that thread and the whole section was locked. (The neverending story was in the pet peeve thread maybe it got taken over.)

I was wondering why one post would lock down an entire section of the forum but then Ron Nasty revived another thread in the Yesterday And Today section where there was another thread where the person above you had five words and the person below had to create a story around the five words then after their story, they would offer five more words and the cycle continued. When I got in, Little Piggy Dragonguy was the last one to have gone and some of her five words were Piggies , toys made by machines that were made by hand, something about a crane and I can’t remember the rest. So I started a story about a pig in the mud and at the end, the pig was Napoleon from Animal Farm.
