I didn't say what I did.

But I don't think anyone cares. It's just work. And work. And work. I hate studying. a-hard-days-night-john-5

Ah. I thought you meant this was your summer of internal-stressing but nobody understood so you have to put it into a song.

I genuinely thought you meant you'd watched Help ! a lot. a-hard-days-night-paul-10

I think it's great you're going through a phase,

and I'm awfully glad it'll all be over in a couple

of days

My summer ended two weeks ago with the start of school, but it's fun to look back. I think I just slept a lot in May and June. My nephew Tucker was born June 6, so I've spent a bunch of time with him and my sister and brother-in-law, babysitting and just hanging out. I spent July in Entomology, which was way more fun than it sounds. Catching and labeling 100 insects was intense, but the end product was strangely satisfying. In early August, I took the MCAT (which sucked royally) and then went to Gulf Shores, which would have been more fun if my family would have stayed in the ocean with me…but I did listen to the White Album , Magical Mystery Tour , and McCartney on the beach. That was pretty cool. I also completed my McCartney collection (all 42 released albums + about 100 b-sides and unreleased tracks…crazy, I know). Unfortunately, I smoked no weed because I am too chicken shit (or smart, can't decide which) to do drugs or drink alcohol.

It seems like I have done something else, but I can't think of what…oh, I did get a guitar the other day for my birthday. I don't really know how to play her yet, but I do know like 3 chords. I don't know how to transition between chords though. Also, my fingers really hurt.

17  paul-mccartney's glad I got all of his music.
