Hi all. This is the first time I've been able to check in since Sunday. I have news!
Theo Pepper M G (the M is Ellie's maiden name and the G is mine) was born on Monday at 9.56am, weighing 8lb 5oz. He's known as Ted or Teddy, and Pepper is for Sgt Pepper (what, did you think we wouldn't have a Beatles reference?). He's a good-looking young fella.
He was born by c-section as he was breech (upside down for birth, with his head at the top). We were told on Friday that he'd be born on Monday. All went fine, Ellie's quite tired and relying on painkillers but is happy and healthy. Hopefully they'll be coming home later today – I've been up and down the motorway to the hospital twice a day, and it'll be lovely to have everyone home.
I'll be offline for a while longer, but thanks for all the good wishes.
Here he is. I have some Beatles onesies from the Beatles website but he needs to grow into them first.
