It was mostly a Star Wars-y Christmas for me. I did receive the Beatles 1+ blu ray, cd, and booklet edition. Love it for the most part. I hate the Come Together video though.

Beatle-wise I got a cool Rubber Soul t-shirt, the 1+ Blu-Ray (still haven’t bought a blu-ray player – only 365 days (or something) to Christmas) and an unofficial telephone and address entry thing.
Best gift was a toaster as my last one broke and I hadn’t bothered replacing it. Using the grill is like returning to getting up to change the tv channel – you get by but you do it so much less.
And if i never have to listen to Slade or Mariah Cary singing their Christmas songs ever again i’ll be delighted. Banning those records (and many others) is the latest addition to what I will be doing if I ever become Prime Minister or Ruler of the World.

Offline For the 3rd year in a row (as is tradition), I have decided to rejuvenate this thread on the 1st of November.
So:
OH MY GOD CHRISTMAS IS COMING AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH
This year I’m all by myself on the run up to Christmas so I’m going to decorate my apartment (I may post pics we shall see). I’m going to get my little tree soon and the mothership says I can have fairy lights, I’ll probably feck some tinsel around as well.
What are you all planing to get from Santy?
Me, myself and I am thinking of getting a Kindle because I’ll be able to read books and it’s small enough to bring into college (unlike my 15″ laptop which I’m afraid will be stolen/get damaged) so I can do project work during breaks.
Everyone wins 😀
So OH MY GOD ONLY 53 DAYS LEFT TO GO.
*awaits for the traditional mmm’s grumpy comment about how it is too early for people to be getting excited for Christmas and how it’s too early for the shops to be putting Christmas crap out*

I’ve never got through the entire film, I watch about 20 minutes and then turn it off. It came in a DVD set with Nanny McPhee and the 2003 Peter Pan and while I’ve watched those countless times, I’ve never fully seen The Grinch.

Bleeding heck!! I still haven’t bought a Blu-Ray player. I don’t have any desire to watch DVD’s or blu-rays.

I can’t watch it here at school, though, because I didn’t bring my own TV and I think the other people on my floor would judge me if I watched it on the communal TV.
