I learnt how to play Lady Madonna from Pianojohn113, I practised the bass parts with the left hand first, once I got the hang of it (playing without looking) I started to practise the right hand separately. After which I play with both hands albeit slowly'till I got the hang of it.

I play a bunch of stuff, mostly on classical guitar. Everything sounds better on nylons strings and played with your fingers. I've now been trying to wrap my head around Paul's bass lines on my acoustic bass. It's funny, because you sort of have to throw out everything you know about the songs and start over fresh once you concentrate on the bass parts.

I can play Hey Jude on piano, and Fool On The Hill, Ticket To Ride and the flute solo in Hey You've Got To Hide Your Love Away on flute. The other day I was messing round on the xylophone at school, and I managed to play Lucy In The Sky.

You guys are amazing... I kid myself into thinking that I can play Eleanor Rigby and WMGGW ( except the chorus, I lost the notes before I had the chance to fully memorize it) on piano, but it's "kind of" rudimentary. Wish I had more time to practice

There's a guy on Youtube named Pianojohn113 who could really teach you how to play some Beatle tracks on the piano (as well as some Elton John and Billy Joel)

Years ago I used to play acoustic guitar and sing at open mikes (I keep promising myself to get back into that) -- mostly I would play my own songs, but occasionally I included a cover. One cover I developed was a folky version of "Tomorrow Never Knows", where I fingerpick sort of James Taylor style, alternating between D major and C with a D bass (the E bass string tuned down to D helps).

I know the guitar chords for a good deal of them. Ever since I got my first guitar, my mother would encourage me to play Beatles songs and we'd learn the harmonies and sing them together. We got particularly adept at If I Fell, Baby's In Black, Don't Ever Change and There's A Place as I recall. It was a pretty unbeatable musical education to be honest; I feel like I know every harmony line to every song by heart, and we still occasionally play songs when I come back home.

Can you play any Beatles songs on any instrument? I can play Twist and Shout (pretty well, actually), Day Tripper, and part of Helter Skelter. I am also learning Hey Bulldog and Help, and am trying my best to learn In Spite Of All The Danger, but it sounds SO much better on an acoustic.
