OfflinePaulrus' hope to see Paul inspired this thread. Personally, I would love to see Paul (again), Tom Petty, Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, The Guess Who, and maybe Buffalo Springfield (That one is if Neil Young doesn't do a solo tour.)

OfflineI'd love to see Ringo. I hope he comes to Mexico one day. I'd get tickets to see Paul and U2 again, and I'd love to see Tears for Fears and Julian Lennon. If I could go back in time, I'd die to see Queen live. I'd love to see many bands and singers live but if I don't I wouldn't mind at all.
I don't have this habit of going to concerts because in Mexico, singers and bands start their concerts way too late. I still get angry when Luis Miguel started his concert 4 and half hours late, he was stoned and drunk and he sang only one hour. I also remember the band Mana, the drummer did a horrible 20 minutes solo that he stopped when everybody booed him. I started enjoying watching guys live when I saw true professionals like Oscar Chavez, Arjona and Caifanes. I was highly surprised when Paul started his concert at 9.05, and U2 started only 10 minutes late.
Another singer I'd love to see live is Placido Domingo, but in an opera.

OfflineI've been to dozens and dozens of concerts but have yet to see a Beatle. Put Paul, Ringo and U2 on my wish list.
mr.S, I've seen Petty and Young and they both put on great shows. When I saw NY, he was headlining a Lollapalooza-type festival in Phoenix that featured about 12 different bands. There were 2 separate stages which allowed one band to play while another was setting up. NY played at least 2 songs with each band (a lot more with some than others) and then played about 90 minutes of his own stuff last.
It was tiring running back and forth between stages (about 100 yards apart) and jockeying for a good spot all day long. But man, what fun!
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, Let it roll for all its worth.

OfflineLucky son of a gun. Young is # 1, Petty #2. Did Neil play My My Hey Hey (Into The Blue)? That has to be in my top 3 Young songs. Unfortunately, neither seem to be willing to announce shows in Canada. Oh well, I'll hopefully be seeing Blue Rodeo in July (5 apples to anyone who actually knows who they are!!)

OfflinePaul, Ringo, Kings of Leon, The Rolling Stones, DAVID BOWIE (please come back!), Kanye West, Foo Fighters, Them Crooked Vultures, Mumford and Sons, Bob Dylan (despite the fact he sounds God awful), Tom Petty.
Probs more. Can't think of any more right now.
Edit: Lady Gaga. She knows how to put on a show.

OfflinePaul, of course, is number one, closely followed by Tom Petty (my Dad has promised he'll take me.). Others would include: Elton John, the Rolling Stones, Coldplay, Simon and Garfunkel, and Arcade Fire (because they put on an amazing show during Coachella).

OfflineSame here. My dad's an Alice fan. I remember talking to a friend on the last day, and he wrote on the blackboard School's Out For Summer. My reaction? *Go to YouTube*

OfflineI really like No More Mr. Nice Guy, and Schools Out is pretty good too.
The reason I want to see KISS is because I would love to see them play Beth live. But they dont play it anymore because Peter Criss left the band. It cant hurt to dream though.

OfflineI've never been overly impressed with 75% of the live rock concerts I've seen, no matter how much I like the performer's music, especially those huge hockey arena shows. The bigger the venue, the lesser my enjoyment. My favourite rock performer is Iggy Pop, but I've already seen him (and the Stooges) four times over the last 20+ years. More than anyone, I'd like to see jazz legend Cecil Taylor – not only is he a dynamic performer, he's also over 80 and obviously won't be with us much longer.

OfflineMay I ask why you didn't see Paul when he played the ACC last year? Paul is the exception to your rule. I still get goosebumps thinking of all those Montrealers singing together.
BoT: I'd love to see Adele.
