OfflineOh yeah sun king I just get so annoyed seeing that you posted something, it's always "oh looky here something else intelligent to read that will probably shed light on another way of thinking about something or a statement that I totally agree with but couldn't put into words myself." You're such a jerk Evan!

I don't think you are posting too much. Nobody should be self conscience about their posts, everyone has a right to post as much as they want to.
On the contrary, everyone should "be self conscience" about their posts. Walrus said it very well, it's called netiquette.
OK, first off, Mr. Sun King, it doesn't bother me that you post a lot.
But it could bother others if they subscribe to the threads and get 53 new messages in their inbox concerning new posts that really don't have much to say. We *all* go off topic, I sure know I do, but I can see how it can get slightly annoying to find lots of notifications for little to say.
And shouldn't you be in school, anyways, young man? Paying attention?

OfflineThanks for bringing this to my attention. And also, I kind of feel like Stephen Harper. Anybody care to ask why? I'll tell you why. If you people had all these issues before, then mention them before Paulsbass did! If you dislike it, tell me!

Hey thanks for noticing, Paulrus!

I've been kidnapped by my Macroeconomics textbook. I figured I could duck in here every now and again but only after I've read my chapters.
And work's just picked up, and *my* free time at work (heh) has been cut down considerably. (Though it's spring break this week, so maybe I'll be on here a little more for now…)
Anyways. Macroecon…fascinating stuff, lemme tell ya!

OfflineHm. Seeing a thread that's mostly a lot of give-and-take between two people may be irritating, but I'd just scroll through it rather than complain about it, because that's the way I roll. I'm more inclined to be annoyed by stuff like Sunii and Lexxi using the forum as their own personal messageboard, sharing their little inside jokes that nobody else here could possibly be interested in.
(Oh, and I STILL think that the Beatles smileys are mostly real eyesores and that people are using entirely too many of 'em, but that's been (only) my opinion for a long time, and I've said so before, so don't let it stop you now!)

OfflineI don't mind it that you post a whole lot, Mr. Sun King!! The only thing with me is that when you say things like cool story, or good to know; it can be taken as sarcasm which is what I thought it was at first, then I thought it wasn't, then I was confused, and I'm still confused, actually!!
That's not really a problem though because it's probably just me.

Paulrus always notices when people come back.
mr. Sun king coming together said And yes, YouTube comments are stupid. But hilariously so.

OfflineIt's a difficult issue, as any forum inevitably has a range of personalities. I wouldn't want to discourage anyone from joining in, and generally don't like forums that have loads of rules and regulations about what people can and cannot say. That's why I'm generally reluctant to ban people, close threads etc.
That said, like Von B I don't really care for the personal exchanges about what a couple of people did at school, or people they know, because it's not relevant to anyone but those involved.
Also, posts where people say "I agree", "cool!" or similar don't really help much. Although it's a low-traffic forum, if everyone pointed out whenever they agreed or disagreed with something it would become a real nuisance. It's always better to add something new where possible, but don't feel pressured.
The Walrus – nicely put.

What? That's confusing things? I always wonder about that. Thanks for putting my mind at ease.

Well it is my mind, and it's Mr. Sun King's mind too, A think.
And A never really got what exactly That's confusing things? is supposed to mean as a question. Like, are you asking what it is that is confusing things, or are you just accidentally putting a question mark instead of a period; just wondering!!

OfflineMean M didn't finish her signature, so I asked, sarcastically, if the line ended I provided was what she meant. I feel like I need to lay down the rules of my sarcasm.

OfflineYou give your sarcasm rules? That's a bit odd, A think. A don't give my sarcasm rules, what A do is; if A'm gonna say something sarcastic A just do, A'd never heard of anyone giving rules to their sarcasm!!
