OfflineStarwisher, you call call me Mith, no problem. Everybody calls me that.
And there's a connection between your name with a Beatle song. Well half of it. "Do you want to know a secret?" was inspired by I'm wishing song from Snow White movie. Julia used to sing it to little John.
I read this info in this terrific website.

OfflineYou know that is something I knew but never consciously made that connection with my name.
I'll have to check the rest of that site out…

OfflinePennyLane- It's a song. By some band. Can't remember the name. Also named after a character in the movie Almost Famous.
Fun fact: I don't even like the song Penny Lane. I can't listen to the song without thinking of the literal video and screaming out "horse montage".
*9* Yeah John, I prefer SFF too.

I'm not a big fanfiction fan (that's just me, there's some great fanfiction) but I really admire people who do it …. do you write a lot?

OfflineI used to, but after a while, the section I was in got really crowded. With a bunch of people that couldn't really write all that well (I don't either, but who knows?). It was filled with authors that sort of have those characters that scream and faint and are so perfect that all of the Beatles fall in love with them at once. I haven't posted anything since last summer. But I was thinking about writing again, lately. Like, I had some about Paul, others about John, and yeah. Do you know a good site with Beatles fan fics?

That is an awesome video. Every time I watch it, I know what lines are coming, sing the lines and still laugh out loud.
"What a stupid coat."
To the fountain of perpetual mirth, Let it roll for all its worth.

What Zig said. I mean, I saw it because a friend sent it. I wish there were more videos like that. The horse montage kills me.

Sadly no. I don't read a lot of fanfic…. I think once in a month or something like that. I don't really like fanfic because I think… "Well, if I want to read something good… why don't you go to the book or the movie?"
but that doesn't mean all fanfic is bad. I have read some that are just awesome. Some of the people I knew on Internet in the 90s who wrote excellent fanfic, went to write their own books.
I tried to write a fanfic about LoTR, (that's where I got my nickname from) but I'm a big procrastinator so I stopped. Now I have a project related with the Beatles.

OfflineYeah, with my writing, i got really lazy. I think it was the fact that I kept on trying to progress with it, but it all was the same. I had this one where someone goes back in time with 1965 Beatles. One that i got a lot of credit (though, my writing has matured since I wrote it) was one about Yoko taking the bullet for John. I got a lot of reviews from people saying how they realized how important he was to her (I'm a Yoko fan, though I like Cyn). Then another was about how I basically threw a tantrum (please…don't judge… You'd have to meet my family to understand the full story) about missing the second Paul McCartney concert that I was in town for. Thing is, my uncle was there and he met Paul McCartney. And he knows people that work on SNL (so his people can call Paul's people!) and he just mocked me. Ugh…
But anyway, I have read a lot of good fan fics. Some that really went far, and were realistic. Not that the theory of time travel is realistic, but the fact that when you have to choose between family, and unknown love, you're torn apart. But there are a lot of solid writers, and a lot of loose ones. I always try to look out for the good ones.

Yeah, I love the video. I love all those literal videos. Total Eclipse of the Heart kills me every time. None of my friends found Penny Lane as funny as I did.

I can't even count how many times I've heard that. Not only do people criticize the 'n', but they criticize the 'i', too. Even the 'u'. Hell, people just think my name is a failure.
I know a girl who's name is Le-a. You want to know how you pronounce her name? 'Ledasha', but her name is spelled Le-a.
It's a name, it doesn't have to make sense!
My english teacher told my class that story!

OfflineMy name is based off a John Lennon poem called Good Dog Nigel. I was trying to think of a clever name when I was signing up, and I had just watched a video where John was reading the poem, so I switched up the words in the title and now it is my name!
