OfflineClicking my way through iTunes, I just asked myself, if there's a difference in quality between the stereo remastered albums on CD and on iTunes. I already have all the albums on CD, I was just wondering … And what about this iTunes LP stuff? Is it the same as you get when you buy the CD's? Does anybody know? Thanks in advance!

OfflineWell, they're 256kb aac files, sampled at 44.1kh. So they're pretty much at the same quality as the CDs.
I'm a bit of a purist, so while it's great to have them available on iTunes, I think there's no better way to experience them than one album at a time, each in its entirety. For years I was militantly pro-vinyl, but the 2009 CDs are absolutely superior in every way.
That being said, I still do the vinyl when I want more of an "experience".
