I ripped up Past Masters and Mono Masters and placed the songs into their time related albums. Also switch between the mono and stereo lps as many tracks have different mixes. Hardly ever play the '87 remixes of Help! and Revolver tho.

Me neither. In fact, since I got the Beatles in Mono box set, I hardly ever listen to the stereo mixes of any of the albums until 1969 when they are only in stereo.

I couldn't rank them even if I tried anyways, but I think there's a pretty good chance that Hey Jude would be first (I don't like the past masters version quite as much as I do the mono version, though).

I'm sorry, I do not understand all these "list songs on album from best to worst" threads that are cropping up all over the forum. They just don't make sense to me. Discussions about the merits/demerits of an album, yes, but ranking, I just don't get it. Maybe a running poll of all songs officially released would be interesting, but I hate seeing this done to individual albums. And Past Masters is such a wide and varied collection because of it's nature. I won't be ranking it's contents, either as Vol. 1/2, or as a whole.

No, I meant the two volumes of Past Masters. Sorry for the confusing, have an apple.
