Plus the record companies make an absolute fortune from Beatle releases so they're not going to let it simply sit there. EMI's financial situation was horrendous before the 2009 reissues so they will be constantly looking, and pressing, Apple for something, anything to bring cash in (the reissues didnt completely solve EMI's cash issues but they certainly helped).

Apple wont include remixes as its viewed as playing about with the beatles official cannon. They will put out remixes but they are not to be seen as replacing whats on the 14 set in stone studio albums as released in 1987 (PPM -> LIB + Past Masters).

I have all the deluxe Beatle albums. But I'm not talking about bootlegs, you don't understand. I'm saying something advertised, you know, official releases.

Maybe we'll see something in tandem with the respective 50th Anniversary of each album, that seems to be how most artists release their back catalogues nowadays. You get the normal edition, followed by a special edition, delux edition, super delux edition, and finally the uber-mega superduper incredulous 45 cd release. However The Beatles are not most bands and Apple dont normally follow the line, they do things differently so who knows what they will do. Maybe they will be so different and do nothing.

The idea with the 2009 Remasters was to be as loyal to the original recordings as possible and not to include remixes of any of the songs (there was a lot of complaint when Yellow Submarine Songtrack (YSS) came out with people saying that Beatle history was being messed with since it wasnt what the Beatles originally put out. On the other hand some people feel that some of the tracks on the YSS album are superior to the original mixes (eg Eleanor Rigby)).
I saw a picture online showing that the booklet of Magical Mystery Tour was attached to the inside of the case. Also, all the of them come in a plastic sleeve so you don't smudge the CD which was another thing I wish mine came with. I'm guessing this is only for the mono version?

The IATW thing: as I understand it they added a live feed from a BBC radio broadcast of King Lear while mixing it in mono. When they came to do the stereo mix they couldn't grab the Lear audio again - it was all done live - so only half of the 'stereo' mix is actually in true stereo.

From the entrance of the radio signal (around the "Sitting in an English garden" point) they created a 'fake stereo' version, which involved cutting the treble from one channel and the bass in the other to try to fool listeners into thinking ...
