OfflineOkay, this should be fun. My life's goal is to collect all of the Beatles albums, and if I save enough money, get a box set. I have a record player, and have more vinyl than CDs…so yeah.
Vinyl
Beatles:
With The Beatles
The Beatles Second Album
Rubber Soul
the cover for Help! the movie soundtrack
Rubber Soul
Soon Revolver and Sgt. Peppers
The Beatles (The White Album)
Abbey Road
Non-Beatles:
Sides three and four of All Things Must Pass – George Harrison
Imagine – John Lennon
Godspell — (cast, I guess. The music was written by Stephen Schwartz and others.) **
Band On the Run — Paul McCartney
Double Fantasy — John Lennon
Lennon and McCartney Songs Gave Away -- Various Artists
Tug Of War – Paul McCartney
Wild Things Run Fast — Joni Mitchell
The Secret Value of Daydreaming — Julian Lennon
Now for my CDs. I have more, but I think I have them in other boxes that aren't in my room at midnight.
The Beatles:
The Beatles/ 1962-1966
Rubber Soul
Non-Beatles:
- The Beatles on Banjo — Jack Convery *
- The Best of George Harrison — George Harrison *
- Liverpool 8 — Ringo Starr *
Y Not — Ringo Starr
Live One, Live Two, and The Show That Never Was -- Rain
A Buddha Lounge Tribute to the Beatles — Various Artists
Tug of War – Paul McCartney
Double Fantasy — John Lennon
John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band – John Lennon
Cedarmont Worship for Kids 2 — Cedarmont Children **
* There was a Beatles fair, and I was in this trivia competition against an older man named George, and I won those three CDs. He disgraced his own namesake by not knowing enough trivia!
** I'm Catholic, and both were gifts. One from my school, the other from my father.

OfflineOddly I don't have one Beatles album on vinyl. In the 2009 remaster I have Abbey Road and Rubber Soul.
John Lennon's solo albums are being promoted over here with a popular daily newspaper and weekly mag at a "budget" price – there's one every week, so far we're up to Rock n Roll and I've bought 'em all.

OfflineSorry, make it 6 McCartney. Two were my dad's, and the other 4 were cheap at a record store in Ottawa. It was more price. McCartney comes 3rd.

Edit: I'm stupid. I also have George's Living in the Material World and Somewhere In England, as well as Ringo's Goodnight Vienna, and also the Red and Blue Albums. All on vinyl.

OfflineWell I don't have any vinyls because my mom has all of them and quite a few solo ones, so there's no need for me to get any.
But the Beatles CD's I have are:
The Mono Box
Help!
Rubber Soul
Revolver
Magical Mystery Tour
The White Album
Yellow Submarine
Yellow Submarine Songtrack
Abbey Road
Let It Be
Let It Be… Naked
Love
Live At The BBC
Anthology 1, 2 & 3
And for John I have:
His Signature Box
Double Fantasy Stripped Down
Acoustic
and his Anthology(wouldn't recomend it)
For Paul I only have Band on the Run, although my mom has all of his CD's
and I've got all George's albums sans Extra Texture and Dark Horse
And the only Ringo album I have is Ringo
Till There Was You said:
You a big McCartney fan?
Yeah, he's my favoritest!!

OfflineYes, get it. It's not to drastic but I enjoy having on my CD rack. If you check the early pages of the Let It Be thread, I posted versions of 3 songs with drastic differences

I just found that post you were talking about. Wow, as soon as I heard the chorus of “I Me Mine,” coincidentally the first song I listened to of the three, I was like OH MY GOSH I am so getting this album!
Thanks!

OfflineI try. Today while I was killing time, I bought Rock And Roll Music, (on vinyl) a 1970's compilation of all their rockers. But, I ask you, do you know why Sides 1 and 4 are on the same vinyl? Or at least why the vinyl says so? (I just put it on, so I haven't checked). All help appreciated.

OfflineExactly. It is the waythe label states. I don't really care, except with curiosity. Do all double albums come like this?
