OfflineA lot of you won't like these, I don't like some of them myself. But here they are for those of you who do like/want them. I'm going to start with the only one I'm actually proud of.

I felt after almost 50 years, it's about time Parlophone is taken off the cover.
"Please Please" don't hurt me if you are offended or just hate it.

OfflineI think it looks quite nice without all the writing at the bottom and no logo. I have no idea how anyone could get offended by that.
Thanks Strawberry for the heads up.

OfflineI was pretty sure you all would like this one. It's the others I'm worried you'll think I'm ruining famous album art. And I don't understand your question Unknown.
I'm about to post the next one (definitely ruins the cover). It'll be in that folder later today.

Not much different.
PS: I forgot that I removed "with Love Me Do and 12 other songs" from Please Please Me. I can add it back in if you want me to.

If they take everything else off of the album covers, then wouldn't that be like messing with them? It's been quite the time since then, so I really don't get it all, that's it.

OfflineWhat's the point? What possible point is there in roving Parlaphone stamps? Why bother? Where's the value to doing this? I need things to make logical sense. This doesn't. Why would someone take the time to adjust the covers and remove perceived blemishes that have become, for better or worse, part of the cover?
I don't object to seeing the covers this way – I just don't see why it matters! What's the logical benefit to restoring the covers, or to viewing them? None. What's the point?

OfflineThe ones I've posted are removed logos. But others like Sgt. Pepper (which is what I started with), I did't like how Sonny Liston is cut off. As well as adding Gandhi and Leo Gorcey back. I agree there's no point, but in my opinion, some of them bother me. It's also good Photoshop practice.
