Hi all – I’m just wondering if there is a discussion anywhere of where the album names come from?
I know about the common ones like ‘A Hard Day’s Night ‘ from Ringo’s comment – but am wondering about names like ‘Beatles For Sale ‘ – the source of the name is not mentioned in any of the references I have checked so far.

While there isn’t a catch-all discussion of album titles, where they do exist they would probably be found in that album’s sub-forum. As to Beatles For Sale , I happen to know there is a discussion on that album’s title –

Cheers – I’m still wondering – but have some more ideas where to look. It’s funny that there seems to be lots of info on some of the album names and virtually nothing on others.
