<p>I grew up with vinyl.  I've still got a ton of vinyl albums.</p>
<p>The purists are deaf and quite possibly insane.  CD quality is superior, and it's not even close.</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>My sister has just told me that in fact, the Red album was thrown away because it was eaten by an animal (maybe), and one of her friends borrowed the White Album, but he never returned it. Anyway I'm happy with the 3 LPs I have.</p>

Plus getting up to flip the record makes me feel like I'm not just lazily listening to music, but I have an actual want and desire to hear it.</p>

        	        	<description><![CDATA[<p>I grew up listening to the 80s CDs on a boombox. Whenever I do so nowadays it takes me back to my childhood.</p>
<p>I own a few LPs: Rubber Soul (US, worn original stereo pressing), Rock 'n' Roll Volume 2, the Red Album (non-Apple label =/) and Abbey Road (newer pressing; the only LP currently in print in the US). I've also got a list of solo releases, but that's for another thread.</p>
<p>I have to say that given the choice I'd rather listen to vinyl now. Sennheiser headphones and the lights turned off.<br />
