When my musical memory goes looking for a place to lay down and rest for a while, it always goes to Abbey Road.  Abbey Road is the FAB LP invested most potently with that inimitable sound, that texture, the genius of music.

And most importantly,  Abbey Road was The End. As the Joni Mitchell song goes: "Don't it always seem to go, You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone."
