This was The Silver Beetles' penultimate show at the Neston Institute, and their last in the month of June 1960.

They performed six times in total at the venue, the final time being on 7 July 1960.

During June and July 1960, The Silver Beetles had regular engagements at the Grosvenor Ballroom in Wallasey on Saturday nights, and at the Neston Institute on Thursdays. The events were promoted by Paramount Enterprises, run by Les Dodd.

This was The Silver Beetles' third consecutive Thursday night show at the Neston Institute, a venue run by promoter Les Dodd.

The group played at the Institute six times in all, ending on 7 July 1960.
