Paul McCartney live: US Airways Center, Phoenix

Paul McCartney performed at the US Airways Center in Phoenix, Arizona, USA, on 12 August 2014.

It was the 49th show of the Out There Tour, which lasted for 91 dates between May 2013 and October 2015. This concert was seen by 14,035 fans.

During the set McCartney took time out to join two fans in marriage. Andrea Copado and Adam Kowal had held up a sign saying: “You’re ordained, we’re engaged. Please marry us tonight!” The couple were brought on stage and a mock wedding took place.

McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar), and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).

McCartney had previously performed at the America West Arena, as the venue was then known, on 29 October 2002 during the Driving World Tour. He returned to the renamed Talking Stick Resort Arena on 26 June 2019 during the Freshen Up Tour.
