Paul McCartney live: Estádio Governador Plácido Castelo, Fortaleza

Paul McCartney performed at the Estádio Governador Plácido Castelo in Fortaleza, Brazil, on 9 May 2013.

It was the third show of the Out There Tour, which lasted for 91 dates between May 2013 and October 2015. This concert was seen by 48,668 fans.

Unlike the previous date in Goiânia, the band was spared unexpected stage invaders:

McCartney’s band was Paul ‘Wix’ Wickens (vocals, keyboards, guitar, percussion, harmonica), Brian Ray (vocals, guitar, bass), Rusty Anderson (vocals, guitar), and Abe Laboriel Jr (vocals, drums).

This was McCartney’s final Brazilian show on this tour. The setlist was virtually identical to his shows in Belo Horizonte and Goiânia, although ‘Hi, Hi, Hi’ and ‘Band On The Run’ were swapped around.
