Ringo Starr's second film, The Magic Christian, had its New York première on this evening.

Studio Two, EMI Studios, Abbey Road Producer: George Martin A version of Ted Daffan's song I'm A Fool To Care, newly arranged by Klaus Voormann, was begun on this day for Ringo Starr's Sentimental Journey album. It was also Starr's fifth wedding anniversary, following his marriage to Maureen Cox on 11 February 1965.
