On 1 December 1969 George Harrison watched husband and wife act Delaney and Bonnie Bramlett perform at the Albert Hall in London. The following night he joined them on stage in Bristol, for his first stage appearance since The Beatles’ final concert on 29 August 1966.

The British Broadcasting Corporation filmed John Lennon and Yoko Ono over a five-day period for a television documentary titled 24 Hours: The World Of John And Yoko, first broadcast in the UK on 15 December 1969.
John Lennon was one of three men nominated by eminent thinkers of the day as Man Of The Decade.
