Mixing: John And Yoko

7.00pm, Thursday 1 May 1969 (44 years ago)

Studio Three, EMI Studios, Abbey Road
Engineer: Jeff Jarratt

On 22 April 1969, John Lennon and Yoko Ono had recorded the track John And Yoko, which which became side two of their Wedding Album.

The track had been mixed at the end of the session, and again on 26 April, but Lennon and Ono evidently found these satisfactory and the heartbeats on the track were re-recorded on 27 April.

A third mixing session took place on this day, during which the final mix was made. It took place from 7-10.45pm in the control room of Studio Three, and was overseen by balance engineer Jeff Jarratt.
