This was the second day of rehearsals for Another Beatles Christmas Show, The Beatles' 1964 festive variety performance, at London's Hammersmith Odeon. The show opened on 24 December 1964.
In a break during this day's rehearsals, Jimmy Savile and a BBC camera crew filmed a brief interview, lasting little more than a minute, for the Christmas Eve edition of Top Of The Pops. Savile was the presenter of the television programme, and also appeared in the stage show.
