John Lennon is interviewed for New Musical Express and BBC

12.00pm, Saturday 28 November 1964 (47 years ago)

John Lennon was interviewed at his home, Kenwood, by New Musical Express news editor Chris Hutchins. The interview was published in the 4 December 1964 edition of the music paper.

While at Kenwood, Hutchins recorded an interview with Lennon for the BBC Light Programme show The Teen Scene, which was broadcast the following evening from 10.45-11.30pm.
