Radio: On The Scene

The Beatles arrived at the BBC's Piccadilly Studios in London in time for a 10am rehearsal for the BBC radio show On The Scene.

Live: ABC Cinema, Romford

The 11th date of The Beatles' UK tour with singers Tommy Roe and Chris Montez. Also on the bill were The Viscounts, Debbie Lee, Tony Marsh and the Terry Young Six.

Live: Regal Cinema, Cambridge

This was the 10th concert of The Beatles' 1963 tour of England with singers Tommy Roe and Chris Montez. The group performed on one other occasion in Cambridge, again at the Regal Cinema, on 26 November 1963.

Live: Regal Cinema, Gloucester

As part of their UK tour with Tommy Roe and Chris Montez, The Beatles gave their only live appearance in Gloucester. They performed at the Regal Cinema on the city's St Aldate Street.

This was The Beatles' second and final appearance at the Embassy Cinema in Peterborough, Northamptonshire. It was part of the group's tour with Tommy Roe and Chris Montez.

This was the second time The Beatles performed at Sheffield's City Hall this month; the first had been on 2 March as part of their UK tour with Helen Shapiro.

Radio: Saturday Club

The Beatles had been due to record a session for the BBC Light Programme radio show Saturday Club on 11 March 1963, but cancelled due to John Lennon's illness and a Radio Luxembourg appearance. They agreed instead to make a live appearance on this day.

Having missed three concerts due to illness, John Lennon was well enough to rejoin The Beatles onstage for both sets at Bristol's Colston Hall.

Live: Gaumont Cinema, Wolverhampton

John Lennon missed a third concert on this day due to his persistent cold. He rejoined The Beatles onstage the following night in Bristol.

As with the previous night's show in Bedford, John Lennon was unable to perform due to illness, so The Beatles took to the stage as a three-piece.

This was The Beatles' third and final show in Bedford, although only three of them took to the stage. John Lennon was bed-bound with a heavy cold, and so Paul McCartney and George Harrison re-arranged the group's songs to share the vocal parts between them.

Radio: The Friday Spectacular

The Beatles' UK tour with Tommy Roe and Chris Montez had a rest day on 10 and 11 March 1963. On this second day, however, the group made an appearance - their fourth and final one - on the Radio Luxembourg show The Friday Spectacular.

Just five days after their tour with Helen Shapiro ended, The Beatles embarked on another. Their second theatre tour began at the Granada Cinema on Barking Road, East Ham, London.

Radio: Here We Go

The Beatles appeared five times on the BBC Light Programme's radio show Here We Go (initially known as Teenager's Turn - Here We Go). This was the final occasion.
