Radio: The Ken Dodd Show

On John Lennon's 23rd birthday The Beatles made their only appearance on the BBC radio programme The Ken Dodd Show. It was recorded at the BBC Paris Studio in London.

The Ken Dodd Show starred the eponymous Liverpudlian comedian in a series of comedy skits and sketches. The Beatles' contribution was a performance of She Loves You, recorded with the rest of the programme before a studio audience from 10-11pm.

This half-hour show was broadcast on the BBC Light Programme service on Sunday 3 November from 2.30pm.
