The Beatles topped a four-act bill at the annual bank holiday Urmston Show, held in Abbotsfield Park in Urmston, Lancashire.

They performed in a marquee in the park. Also on the bill were The Dennisons and Brian Poole And The Tremeloes, and the compère was disc jockey David Hamilton.
