Studio Two, EMI Studios, Abbey Road
Producer: George Martin
Engineer: Norman Smith
Following The Beatles’ recording session on 1 July 1963, editing and mono mixing took place to prepare the group’s fourth single for release.
The session took place between 10am and 1pm in the control room of Abbey Road’s studio two, with George Martin producing.
It is unlikely The Beatles attended the session, although they were in London on this day; in the evening they saw The Rolling Stones for the second time, at the Scene Club in Soho.
