This booking was arranged by Brian Epstein's NEMS Enterprises. It was The Beatles' only performance in the Lancashire town of Leigh.

The Casino later became a nightclub, and was finally demolished in 2007.

The was The Beatles' only live show at this Victorian era venue, normally used as a Turkish baths and swimming pool, although they performed in Doncaster, Yorkshire, on four other occasions.
