The Beatles played two shows on consecutive nights in Gloucestershire on this and the following night. This first show took place at the Town Hall on Church Road in the town of Lydney.

On this day The Beatles’ 96th evening show at the Cavern Club took place. It was billed as The Blue Genes Guest Night; The Beatles were second on the bill, and also appearing were Birmingham act Gerry Levene and the Avengers.

This was The Beatles’ 95th evening show at the Cavern Club. They were second on a bill headlined by Mike Berry, who had a chart hit in October 1961 with Tribute To Buddy Holly.

The Beatles’ 93rd evening show at Liverpool’s Cavern Club took place on this date. Earlier in the day they had given a lunchtime show at the venue, during which they were filmed by a crew from Granada Television.

The Beatles played twice at the Majestic Ballroom in Crewe, Cheshire. This was the second date; the first came a week earlier on 13 August 1962.

On this day The Beatles’ 92nd evening show at the Cavern Club took place. They headlined a bill which also included The Zenith Six Jazz Band, the Swinging Blue Genes, and Peppy and the New York Twisters.
