This was The Beatles’ 12th performance at the Casbah Coffee Club in Liverpool’s Hayman Green. The venue was owned by drummer Pete Best‘s mother Mona. This was the group’s first show there since their second trip to Hamburg, which ended on 1 July 1961.

This was the 20th performance given by The Beatles at Aintree Institute, which was situated at Longmoor Lane in Aintree, Liverpool. It was put on by Brian Kelly for his Beekay Promotions.
