The Beatles’ 14th evening show at Liverpool’s Cavern Club took place on this date.
On this occasion they shared a bill with two other acts: Johnny Sandon and the Searchers, and Ian and the Zodiacs.
The precise number of the group’s Cavern Club shows is not known, although at least 155 lunchtime performances and 125 evening shows are documented. This was their 45th appearance overall.
