This was The Beatles' seventh show at Litherland Town Hall, where they had given a triumphant homecoming performance on 27 December 1960, following their first trip to Hamburg.

This was The Beatles' fourth performance at the Cassanova Club, promoted by Sam R Leach.

This was The Beatles' second performance at Liverpool's Cavern Club. As with their debut on 9 February 1961, it was a lunchtime show taking place from 1-2pm.
