This was The Silver Beetles’ eighth consecutive Saturday night show at the Grosvenor Ballroom, a venue in Liscard Wallasey run by local promoter Les Dodd under the name Paramount Enterprises.
This was another of The Silver Beetles’ regular concerts at the Grosvenor Ballroom, which took place every Saturday night in June and July 1960.
The Silver Beetles had performed regularly on Thursday nights at the Neston Institute since 2 June 1960. This was their sixth and final show at the venue.
