Live: Casbah Coffee Club, Liverpool

8.00pm, Saturday 5 September 1959 (52 years ago)

Following their success performance on the opening night of the Casbah Club, the Quarrymen were booked for a Saturday night residency by the owner, Mona Best.

This was the group's second show at the venue, which was based in the cellar of a large Victorian house in Hayman's Green, Liverpool.
